About the Role
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you’ll be responsible for both installation and service work on a range of commercial sites across your region. This is a field-based position working with a supportive team of skilled professionals.

- Install, test, inspect, and maintain Edwards (EST) fire alarm systems.
- Diagnose and repair fire alarm issues efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and local building/fire regulations.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned projects on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, inspections, and system maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on client sites.
About the Candidate
We’re seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians who have hands-on experience installing and servicing Edwards (EST) fire alarm systems. This position is ideal for technicians who take pride in their workmanship and want to work for a company that values reliability, safety, and technical expertise.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working on commercial Fire Alarm systems.
- Must have experience with EST (Edwards) systems – this is essential.
- Additional experience with Access Control, CCTV, or AV systems is highly desirable but not required.
- Ability to work across installation and service tasks independently.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Qualifications:
- NICET certification is a plus (any level).
- OSHA safety training a plus.
Salary, Package & Benefits:
- $25 – $30 per hour (depending on experience)
