About the Client
About the Role
- Responsible for planning, overseeing, and delivering fire alarm system installations on mission-critical projects nationwide.
- Collaborates with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to design standards, code compliance, and project timelines.
- Oversees the fire alarm scope from early preconstruction through to final system commissioning.
- Works closely with the Project Management Team to monitor progress, troubleshoot challenges, and keep objectives on track.
- Verifies all work is completed in line with NFPA codes, local AHJ regulations, and company safety policies.
- Role involves regular travel to project sites and extended periods of on-site field work.
About the Candidate
- At least 5 years’ experience overseeing fire alarm projects within mission-critical environments.
- In-depth understanding of low voltage systems such as Fire Alarm, DAS, Access Control, and Building Management Systems.
- Proven track record managing every stage of fire alarm installations, including submittals, material sourcing, supervision of installation, coordination with testing agencies, and project closeout.
- Skilled in reviewing and interpreting construction plans, electrical schematics, and applicable codes including NFPA 70, NFPA 73, and NFPA 101.
- Experienced in working with local inspectors and regulatory authorities (AHJs).
- Proficient with construction management and scheduling platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or comparable tools.
- NICET Level II certification or above is highly desirable.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and excellent organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment background screening and, where applicable, pass an MVR check for vehicle operation.
