About the Role

  • Responsible for planning, overseeing, and delivering fire alarm system installations on mission-critical projects nationwide.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to design standards, code compliance, and project timelines.
  • Oversees the fire alarm scope from early preconstruction through to final system commissioning.
  • Works closely with the Project Management Team to monitor progress, troubleshoot challenges, and keep objectives on track.
  • Verifies all work is completed in line with NFPA codes, local AHJ regulations, and company safety policies.
  • Role involves regular travel to project sites and extended periods of on-site field work.

About the Candidate

  • At least 5 years’ experience overseeing fire alarm projects within mission-critical environments.
  • In-depth understanding of low voltage systems such as Fire Alarm, DAS, Access Control, and Building Management Systems.
  • Proven track record managing every stage of fire alarm installations, including submittals, material sourcing, supervision of installation, coordination with testing agencies, and project closeout.
  • Skilled in reviewing and interpreting construction plans, electrical schematics, and applicable codes including NFPA 70, NFPA 73, and NFPA 101.
  • Experienced in working with local inspectors and regulatory authorities (AHJs).
  • Proficient with construction management and scheduling platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or comparable tools.
  • NICET Level II certification or above is highly desirable.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and excellent organizational skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background screening and, where applicable, pass an MVR check for vehicle operation.
