Senior Designer – Architectural Glazing & Facades
Location: Wolverhampton (Full-Time, Office-Based)

A well-established and highly respected UK specialist in the design, manufacture, and installation of architectural glazing systems is seeking a talented Senior Designer to join its growing team. This is a full-time, office-based role in Wolverhampton, offering the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile façade projects across the UK and Europe.

The Role
As a Senior Designer, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of façade and glazing design solutions. You will lead design activities across multiple projects, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and detailing of architectural glazing and façade systems
• Produce high-quality drawings, models, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project teams to ensure design intent is met
• Oversee design compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and project specifications
• Support project delivery from concept through to installation
• Mentor and guide junior designers within the team
• Attend design meetings and contribute to technical discussions with clients and stakeholders

• Proven experience in façade or architectural glazing design
• Strong proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks or similar)
• Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and building regulations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy

• Experience working with major contractors or on large-scale commercial projects
• Knowledge of UK and European façade standards
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience
