About the Role

As a Facades Restoration Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions for complex facade remediation projects. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting detailed assessments of existing facade systems to identify defects, risks, and non-compliance issues.
  • Designing innovative and compliant remediation strategies, selecting appropriate materials and systems.
  • Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and reports for facade restoration projects.
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, project managers, and clients to ensure design integrity and project success.
  • Staying informed about the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices in facade design and remediation.
  • Contributing to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient facade solutions.
  • Ensuring designs adhere to all health and safety regulations.

About the Candidate

  • Proven experience in facade design, restoration, or remediation.
  • Strong understanding of various facade systems, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Knowledge of building regulations, fire safety standards, and relevant British Standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
