Estimator – Drylining & Interior Fit-Out

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their established pre-construction team.

You'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of commercial and residential drylining and interior fit-out projects. Working closely with directors, project managers and clients, you'll play a key role in securing new business and supporting the company's continued success.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate cost estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Completing detailed quantity take-offs.
• Producing competitive tender submissions within agreed deadlines.
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Attending pre-tender and post-tender meetings when required.
• Liaising with clients, architects, consultants and the wider pre-construction team.
• Conducting handover meetings with the operations team following successful bids.
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Monitoring market rates and material pricing.

• Previous experience as an Estimator within the drylining, interiors or commercial construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of drylining, metal framing, suspended ceilings, SFS and interior fit-out packages.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders while working to tight deadlines.
• A proactive approach with a strong desire to contribute to business growth.
