About the Role

They are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team based in Crawley. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders across a range of interiors and drylining projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, growing contractor that values technical expertise and long-term development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for drylining, partitioning, and ceiling packages.

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to produce take-offs and bills of quantities.

• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Identify potential risks, value engineering options, and cost efficiencies.

• Submit tenders within deadlines and manage post-tender negotiations.

• Work collaboratively with the commercial and project delivery teams during handover.

• Keep up to date with market rates and construction costs.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in estimating within the drylining, partitioning, or interiors sector.

• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and specifications.

• Experience using estimating software (e.g., ConQuest, Causeway, or similar).

• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
