Estimator

As Estimator, you'll be responsible for reviewing tender documentation and preparing estimates for commercial drywall projects, helping the business submit competitive bids and identify potential project risks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

• Completing quantity take-offs for commercial drywall and associated systems.

• Calculating material, labour and other relevant project costs.

• Preparing estimates and pricing submissions for commercial projects.

• Identifying scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions and potential risks.

• Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor pricing.

• Assessing drawing revisions and changes that may affect project costs.

• Working with the project delivery team to support the handover of successful bids.
   

• Proficient in OST(On Screen Takeoff), Quickbid & Bluebeam

This is an opportunity for an Estimator with commercial drywall experience to join a growing contractor, apply their technical expertise and contribute directly to the company's future project pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have experience estimating commercial drywall projects, with a strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, material quantities and labour requirements.

You'll be analytical, organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to assess project requirements and produce accurate pricing. You'll also be comfortable communicating with suppliers, general contractors and internal teams to clarify scope, obtain pricing and support the bidding process.

Our client places particular importance on technical credibility. You'll need to demonstrate your estimating knowledge, explain your approach to take-offs and pricing, and show a consistent employment history.
