About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee commercial ground-up construction projects throughout the Charlotte metro area. This role is key to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will manage day-to-day field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and serve as the on-site leader for electrical scope of work on projects up to $10M.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all field operations and installation for commercial electrical projects.

  • Manage crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and quality execution.

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate work with Project Managers and General Contractors.

  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards.

  • Conduct site meetings, inspections, and provide daily/weekly reporting on project status.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.

  • Ensure proper manpower, tools, and materials are in place to meet project deadlines.

  • Mentor and develop field staff, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism.

About the Candidate

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent (or equivalent leadership role).

  • Strong background in commercial ground-up projects up to $10M.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage crews on active construction sites.

  • In-depth knowledge of NEC codes, electrical systems, and construction best practices.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to interact effectively with clients, GCs, and project teams.

  • OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites within the Charlotte area.
