Electrical Superintendent - Healthcare

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on large-scale healthcare construction projects in the Wilmington, NC area. This role is responsible for leading all on-site electrical installation activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company and project standards.

The Superintendent will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Field Operations leadership, Safety, BIM, Prefabrication, and QA/QC teams to ensure successful project execution from planning through closeout.

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical field construction activities in accordance with project schedules and contract documents
• Lead field crews by organizing manpower, setting expectations, tracking productivity, and maintaining performance standards
• Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules, manpower forecasts, and production goals in coordination with project leadership
• Oversee material management and jobsite logistics including procurement coordination, delivery scheduling, staging, and on-site organization
• Implement and enforce project-specific and company safety standards in coordination with safety personnel to maintain a safe and compliant jobsite
• Manage QA/QC processes including inspections, testing, documentation, code compliance, and punch list completion
• Support BIM coordination and field layout activities, including drawing and model reviews to ensure constructability and installation accuracy
• Assist in prefabrication planning and execution by identifying assemblies, coordinating schedules, and aligning with project sequencing and installation needs
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on schedule, safety, quality, and production goals throughout the project lifecycle

• High school diploma or GED required
• OSHA 30 certification preferred or required prior to start
• Licensed electrician or 4–10+ years of electrical construction experience
• Strong preference for healthcare construction experience
• Proven leadership experience in field supervision roles
• Ability to work in active construction environments (indoor/outdoor conditions)
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as required
