Electrical Project Manager - Traveling

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a growing electrical contractor and take ownership of commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through final completion.

You will be responsible for managing the overall delivery of projects, including budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, change orders, billing, forecasting, and client relationships. You will work closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage electrical projects from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Oversee project costs, forecasting, billing, and financial performance.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Monitor procurement, material deliveries, and manpower requirements.
• Attend project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and profitability targets.
• Identify and resolve project issues before they impact delivery.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in commercial electrical construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects from pre-construction through completion, while overseeing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and client relationships.

The successful candidate will be a commercially minded and organized professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and profitability. Experience delivering large-scale commercial, mission-critical, industrial, or data center projects is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager.
• Strong commercial electrical construction experience.
• Experience managing projects from $5M+ through completion.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, specifications, and NEC requirements.
• Experience with project budgets, forecasting, change orders, billing, and cost control.
• Strong subcontractor, vendor, and client management skills.
• Experience using platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• A strong focus on delivering projects safely, on schedule, and profitably.
