About the Client

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through to closeout. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of planning, bidding, scheduling, execution and delivery, ensuring each project is completed on time, within budget and in full compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of construction practices, proven experience in contract negotiation and strong leadership skills. This individual will act as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, internal teams and inspectors, driving projects forward with precision, accountability and professionalism.

About the Role

  • Oversee full project lifecycle from preconstruction through to closeout, including planning, bidding, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project delivery aligns with schedule, budget, and quality expectations
  • Manage project costs, contracts, and change orders, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely billing, and financial reporting
  • Enforce health and safety compliance on-site, working closely with field teams and safety personnel to meet all regulatory and company standards
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and consultants, maintaining strong communication and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Facilitate regular progress meetings, risk assessments, and performance updates throughout the project
  • Maintain thorough project documentation including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, meeting minutes, and final close-out packages

  • Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Site-based role with regular travel between offices and active construction sites
  • Involves exposure to trades, equipment, and varying weather conditions
  • Requires mobility across uneven terrain, ladders, and scaffolding
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical site duties
  • Ability to drive or operate commercial vehicles as needed

Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 7 years' experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, trades, and scheduling
  • Familiar with safety standards, permitting, and subcontractor oversight
  • Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel as projects demand
