About the Role
A valued client of ours is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team in Greensboro, NC. The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical construction projects, from initial planning and design to final completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.

Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of electrical construction projects, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Monitor project progress and identify and resolve any issues or delays.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, including electricians, subcontractors, and support staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide clear direction and feedback.
- Ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and provide regular project updates.
- Address client concerns and ensure client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Financial Management:
- Manage project budgets and track expenses.
- Prepare and submit progress billings and change orders.
- Forecast project costs and identify potential cost savings.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and codes, including OSHA and NEC.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
About the Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and codes.

Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Valid driver’s license.

Experience in the Greensboro, NC market preffered.

NEC code knowledge.
-
OSHA certifications.
