About the Client

  • We are currently working with a market leader Electrical Contractor who focus in the mission critical space and are going through an exception growth phase.
  • The  Traveling Foreman  responsible for the field execution of complex commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical projects nationwide. You will lead field operations to ensure every project is delivered safely, on schedule, and in strict alignment with company quality standards.
  • This role is designed for a high-impact leader with deep technical expertise and the mobility to manage high-stakes environments independently.

About the Role

As an Electrical Foreman, the candidate leverages extensive experience in electrical pre-construction and field management to drive execution through the following core duties:

  • Technical Interpretation: Translates complex electrical schematics, 3D models, and shop drawings into precise field installations. Uses BIM software like Revit and AutoCAD to identify and resolve spatial conflicts before they impact the job site.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manages the flow of electrical material buyouts and equipment logistics. Coordinates with vendors and subcontractors to ensure materials and crews are staged correctly for upcoming project phases.

  • Schedule Oversight: Proactively monitors critical path activities and project milestones to prevent mobilization delays. Collaborates directly with site superintendents to ensure field production meets strict project timelines.

  • Digital Documentation & Safety: Maintains accurate project documentation, including RFIs, Submittals, and Change Orders via platforms like Procore and Bluebeam. Leads site safety by coordinating weekly tailgate meetings and tracking OSHA-compliant safety reports.

About the Candidate

  • Technical Mastery: 6+ years in electrical construction , expert in Revit/Navisworks for resolving spatial conflicts , and OSHA 30-Hour certified.

  • Document & Field Pro: Extensive experience interpreting blueprints/shop drawings and managing project docs (RFIs/COs).

  • Logistics & Tech: Proficient in Procore and PlanGrid to track daily production, material buyouts , and subcontractor schedules.

  • Leadership: Proven history of leading site safety meetings and coordinating with superintendents to hit milestones.
