About the Role
We are seeking a skilled General Foreman to lead commercial electrical projects across the Charlotte area. This role will oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring crews are working safely, efficiently, and delivering high-quality installations on ground-up projects up to $10M. The General Foreman will serve as the bridge between field teams and site leadership, driving schedules, productivity, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical crews on active commercial construction sites.

  • Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and provide hands-on support as needed.

  • Ensure all work meets safety standards, NEC codes, and project specifications.

  • Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to maintain schedules and budgets.

  • Track materials, tools, and equipment to keep projects on target.

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate journeymen and apprentices to maintain strong crew performance.

  • Resolve field issues quickly and effectively to avoid delays.

  • Maintain open communication with general contractors, subcontractors, and site leadership.

About the Candidate

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field experience in electrical construction, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience leading crews on commercial ground-up projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, and construction practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • OSHA 30 (preferred).

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Charlotte area.
