We are searching for a skilled and results-oriented Electrical Foreman to join a thriving electrical contractor in the Tampa Bay area. They are a prominent player with a $15 million+ annual turnover, known for delivering exceptional electrical solutions across diverse commercial and industrial projects (think schools, hospitals,).

About the Role

  • Lead and motivate your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment on Tampa Bay projects.
  • Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and project specifications.
  • Develop and implement electrical work plans, assigning tasks for efficient workflow in Tampa Bay.
  • Conduct regular safety briefings and enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations on Tampa Bay jobsites.
  • Oversee the quality of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with NEC and local building codes in Tampa Bay.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, material usage records, and manpower allocation for Tampa Bay projects.
  • Conduct crew performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development for your Tampa Bay team.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors for seamless project execution in Tampa Bay.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients by addressing questions or concerns on Tampa Bay projects.
  • Manage material procurement and inventory control to ensure timely availability on Tampa Bay projects.

About the Candidate

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or similar role in commercial/industrial electrical construction (minimum 5 years) in the Tampa Bay area (a plus).
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations (NEC and local codes) for Tampa Bay projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and lead a team in Tampa Bay.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, schedule, and prioritize workloads on Tampa Bay projects.
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics for Tampa Bay projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to find effective solutions on Tampa Bay projects.
  • A valid Florida Electrical Contractor License (EC) or the ability to obtain one is a plus.
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) software experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
