About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong commercial construction background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for taking estimates from initial review through to final pricing and submission, working primarily on commercial electrical projects valued between $300,000 and $1.2m.
This position would suit someone who is comfortable working independently and has the commercial awareness to accurately price projects and produce competitive final bids.

This position would suit someone who is comfortable working independently and has the commercial awareness to accurately price projects and produce competitive final bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates for commercial electrical projects
- Review drawings, specifications and bid documents
- Complete material and labour takeoffs
- Obtain and review vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Build complete project estimates
- Review scope and identify potential risks or exclusions
- Finalise pricing and prepare bids for submission
- Work closely with Project Management and senior leadership
Support the handover of successful bids into operations
About the Candidate
- Commercial electrical estimating experience
- Experience estimating projects within a similar value range
- Strong understanding of electrical construction and associated costs
- Ability to independently manage estimates from takeoff through final pricing
- Strong knowledge of labour, materials and takeoffs
- AccuBid experience preferred
Commercially minded and confident producing final bid numbers
Salary & Package:
- Base Salary: Up to $100,000
- Bonus: Project-based bonus linked to profitability
- PTO: 1 week after 6 months
- Health & Dental: Available after 6 months
- Working Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
