We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a leading commercial electrical contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial construction projects, working closely with the pre-construction and operations teams to secure new business.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed material and labour take-offs.
• Prepare accurate project cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and design teams during the pre-construction phase.
• Ensure bids are submitted accurately and within deadlines.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of NEC, electrical systems, and commercial construction practices.
• Experience estimating projects ranging from tenant improvements to large-scale commercial developments.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting strict deadline
