About the Opportunity

A busy and growing commercial drywall contractor is seeking an experienced Drywall Superintendent to join their field leadership team. Most projects fall around the $1M range, with occasional larger, more complex builds. The company maintains a steady pipeline and is consistently looking to bring on strong field personnel — Superintendents, Foremen, and future PM talent.

Position Overview

The Drywall Superintendent will oversee all field operations for assigned projects. This role is responsible for managing onsite crews, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, coordinating with subcontractors, and working closely with Project Managers to deliver projects efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily onsite operations for commercial drywall projects

• Manage, mentor, and direct field crews and foremen

• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

• Maintain schedules and assist in short-term planning

• Coordinate materials, equipment, and deliveries

• Conduct site meetings, walkthroughs, and inspections

• Communicate progress and issues to Project Managers

• Solve onsite challenges proactively and efficiently

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong background in drywall, framing, or commercial interiors

• Prior experience as a Superintendent or Foreman running jobs

• Ability to read and understand drawings, schedules, and specs

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• High level of organization and jobsite awareness

• Valid driver’s license
