The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major drywall and interior systems projects near Orangeburg, NY. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and can balance project delivery, financial management, and client satisfaction with precision.

You’ll oversee all aspects of drywall and interior construction — from estimating and scheduling to field coordination and closeout — ensuring that each project meets our high standards for quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of drywall/interior systems projects from preconstruction to completion

• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, and field teams to maintain schedules and budgets

• Oversee material procurement, subcontractor selection, and onsite operations

• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure technical accuracy

• Track costs, manage RFIs, change orders, and progress documentation

• Lead project meetings and maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders

• Ensure adherence to OSHA and site-specific safety protocols

• Drive project closeout and client satisfaction

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience managing commercial drywall or interior build-out projects

• Proven success delivering large-scale or multi-phase construction projects

• Strong understanding of cold-formed metal framing, drywall systems, and finishing standards

• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills

• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

• PMP certification or equivalent project management training a plus
