Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drywall Project Manager to oversee commercial drywall projects throughout Central and Southwest Florida. This role is based in our Tampa office, with weekly travel to job sites in Orlando or Naples. You’ll lead projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, budget control, and client satisfaction—while helping to shape the future of a growing, high-performance construction team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of drywall projects from pre-construction through closeout

• Collaborate with field supervisors, estimators, subcontractors, and vendors to drive project success

• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure all milestones are met

• Monitor budgets and job costing to maintain profitability; manage change orders as needed

• Conduct weekly site visits to oversee quality, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project plans

• Attend internal and external meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned

• Foster strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle

• Ensure safety and quality standards are met across all project sites

• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to project progress, costs, and decisions

• Help improve operational workflows, reporting systems, and project controls

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in managing commercial drywall or interior construction projects.

• Proven ability to lead multi?disciplinary teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.

• Deep familiarity with construction scheduling, cost control, budget tracking, and change order management.

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building codes.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Viewpoint, Buildertrend, or similar).

• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

• Problem-solving mindset, decisive and proactive.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus (not mandatory).

• Ability to travel to job sites regularly and work flexibly as project needs demand.
