Director of Healthcare

A nationally recognized healthcare real estate and program management firm is seeking an experienced Director of Program Management to lead complex healthcare capital programs for major health systems across the United States. This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing strategic client relationships, directing multidisciplinary project teams, and ensuring successful execution of large-scale healthcare capital initiatives.

The Director serves as a trusted advisor to executive-level healthcare clients while driving operational excellence, financial performance, project delivery, and business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned healthcare project management professional with extensive experience leading complex healthcare construction and capital development programs.

• Lead complex healthcare capital programs and project portfolios, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive healthcare stakeholders and client leadership.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships while identifying opportunities for expanded services and account growth.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight for project management teams.
• Oversee all phases of healthcare capital projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, activation, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage program budgets, financial performance, contracts, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Support business development through proposals, presentations, and client engagement activities.
• Monitor key performance indicators and prepare executive-level reports.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience managing large-scale healthcare capital or construction projects.
• Demonstrated success leading complex healthcare programs, client accounts, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare facility planning, design, construction, activation, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk management initiatives.
• Proven client relationship management, business development, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management platforms such as e-Builder, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or similar tools is preferred.
• Direct experience with healthcare construction and capital development projects is required.
