We’re seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of new building projects within the public works sector. You’ll assist in managing all phases of construction, ensuring projects run smoothly, stay on schedule, and meet safety and quality standards. This role offers excellent growth opportunities for individuals looking to advance into full Project Management.

• Experience in construction management, with exposure to ground-up projects (public works experience preferred)
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of construction practices, codes, and safety standards
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ambitious, proactive, and eager to develop into a Project Management role

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents in planning, coordinating, and executing ground-up construction projects

• Assist with project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports

• Help track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site crews to maintain project flow

• Monitor safety compliance and support quality control processes

• Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items

• Assist in resolving project-related issues and maintain effective communication across all teams
