Traviling Commercial Refrigeration Installer (Knoxville TN)
We're looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Installer to join our team. You'll install refrigeration systems for supermarkets, cold storage facilities, and food processing plants—working independently and with a team to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Install commercial refrigeration systems: piping, insulation, evaporators, compressors, condensers, walk-in coolers/freezers, and display cases
- Read and follow blueprints and electrical schematics
- Install condensate drain lines and case fixtures
- Use hand and power tools safely; maintain clean, safe job sites
- Travel for out-of-town/night work (including Puerto Rico) as needed
Lead Installer roles also include:
- EMS/electrical wiring to code
- System testing and troubleshooting
- Communicating with project managers and tracking job progress
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial refrigeration installation experience
- EPA 608 Certification(Universal or Type II) required or willing to obtain
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
- Strong skills in piping, brazing, blueprint reading, and tool use
- Reliable, detail-oriented, team player with good communication skills
- Able to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
