Commercial HVAC Service Technician

My client are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services for a variety of commercial HVAC systems. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial HVAC principles, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
 

• Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot complex commercial HVAC system issues, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and building automation systems.

• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify malfunctions and determine appropriate solutions.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

• Repair or replace faulty components, including compressors, motors, fans, and control systems.

• Perform system start-ups and shutdowns.

• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, explaining technical issues, and providing clear solutions.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.

• Complete work orders and submit reports in a timely manner.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA standards and company safety policies.

• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend service calls as needed.

• Minimum 7 years' experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment. 

• Able to cover a 70 mile radius of Nashville, TN. 

• Must have own basic hand tools. 

• Must have full drivers license.

• Experience with systems such as Mitsubishi, Carrier and Samsung.
