The business has recently secured a large pipeline of projects and is scaling up its technical team to meet demand. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, ambitious company at a pivotal stage of expansion.

About the Role

We have secured a significant pipeline of interior and joinery projects and need two experienced CAD professionals to join our technical team. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of design deliverables, and help lead standards and process improvements.

You will:

• Prepare, manage, and deliver detailed joinery and interiors CAD drawings (2D and 3D)

• Work with SolidWorks (strongly preferred) — hands-on proficiency is a major advantage

• Coordinate and review drawings, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards

• Collaborate with project managers, designers, site teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues

• Mentor junior CAD staff or trainees (if relevant)

• Help maintain drawing libraries, standards, templates, and best practices

• Support accelerating workload and scaling processes as more projects come in

Key Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience in joinery, timber interiors, or high-end furniture/fit-out environments

• Proficient in SolidWorks (non-negotiable) — strong track record in using it for joinery/woodwork design

• Comfortable also working in 2D CAD / technical detailing environments

• Excellent spatial awareness, attention to detail, ability to foresee build/interference issues

• Good communication and coordination skills (internal teams, site, suppliers)

• Ability to work to deadlines under pressure

• Experience managing or mentoring other CAD users is a plus

• Willingness to travel or visit sites when needed
