Assistant Superintendent

We are currently representing a successful General Contractor based in Long Island

They are currently looking for an experienced, organized and detail oriented Assistant Superintendent with a minimum of two years experience.

Assist the Superintendent in overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish

Collaborate with project team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met

Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of construction plans

Monitor and enforce quality control measures to ensure work is completed to specifications

Assist in coordinating and scheduling subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors

Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress, identify issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols

Assist in managing project budgets, including tracking expenses and cost control measures

Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address project concerns and provide updates on progress

Assist in preparing construction estimates and proposals

Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials

Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Familiarity with construction estimating software is a plus
