About the Client
About the Role
Responsibilities will include:

Preparing Applications for Payment (Valuations).
-
Pricing variations and additional works.
-
Checking fortnightly subcontractor labour invoices, issuing Payment Notices, liaising with subcontractors regarding claims, and logging payments.

Assisting with the checking of Sub-Contracts and associated contractual documents.
-
Attending pre-contract meetings with prospective clients and negotiating terms.
-
Quantifying works using onscreen measuring software.
-
Liaising with Project Managers and providing commercial support to live projects.

Creating project budgets on contract award, including labour, materials, and preliminaries, and re-tendering materials with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.

Producing labour target sheets/“white cards” and regularly updating budgets to provide the Board with real-time financial reports.
Terms & Package (subject to negotiation):

Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00.

Based at our Eastbourne offices, with occasional home working available by agreement.

Salary range £30,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on experience and capability.

28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).

Company vehicle and private healthcare available, depending on package negotiation.

Start date October/November 2025, with a full handover provided by the current postholder.
