About the Role
We are working with a growing General Contractor seeking an Assistant Project Manager
to join their team and develop their career within wood-frame multifamily construction.
This is an excellent opportunity for an APM with strong experience in RFIs, submittals, document control and project coordination who is looking to gain hands-on exposure to multifamily construction and progress into a Project Manager role.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with the day-to-day administration and coordination of multifamily projects.
- Manage and track RFIs, submittals, drawings and project documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers and clients.
- Assist with project schedules, procurement and change orders.
- Attend project meetings and maintain accurate project records.
- Help identify and resolve project issues to keep work progressing on schedule.
- Support the PM through construction, closeout and final completion.
Requirements
- 2+ years of construction/project management experience preferred.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar.
- Strong experience with RFIs and submittals.
- Understanding of construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Motivated to build a career within wood-frame multifamily construction.
- Multifamily experience is preferred but not essential — training and development will be provided.
