Assistant Project Manager - Cladding

We are seeking a driven Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful delivery of architectural metal and ACM cladding projects across commercial, institutional, and high-end residential developments.

This role offers hands-on exposure to fabrication, procurement, and field installation of custom metal systems including structural and miscellaneous metals, ornamental features, and aluminum composite material (ACM) façade systems.

The ideal candidate has experience working for a specialty subcontractor (metals, façade, glazing, envelope, or similar) and is looking to grow into a full Project Manager role.

• Support Project Managers with full project lifecycle coordination

• Manage submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation

• Coordinate closely with fabrication shop, field installers, and vendors

• Assist in procurement of steel, aluminum, ACM panels, and specialty materials

• Track material lead times and ensure alignment with project schedules

• Review architectural and structural drawings for scope accuracy

• Attend project meetings and communicate with general contractors and clients

• Monitor budgets, track cost impacts, and assist with forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and installation standards

• 1–3+ years of experience in construction project coordination or management

• Experience in architectural metals, façade systems, ACM cladding, curtainwall, or glazing preferred

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven

• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
