About the Role

Role Overview

This dual-role opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail and a proactive attitude. You'll support both the accounts and procurement functions of the business—assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice processing, and purchase administration. This is a great step for someone early in their finance or construction admin career who wants a varied role with progression.


Key Responsibilities

? Bookkeeping / Accounts Support

  • Assist with inputting and reconciling purchase invoices

  • Liaise with suppliers regarding payment queries and statements

  • Support monthly payment runs and basic bank reconciliations

  • Maintain and organise digital records for accounts and expenses

? Buying / Procurement Support

  • Raise and track purchase orders for materials and site deliveries

  • Liaise with site teams to ensure timely procurement

  • Source pricing and compare supplier quotes

  • Maintain accurate records of orders and delivery notes

  • Support general office and admin duties when needed

About the Candidate

About You

  • Experience in bookkeeping, procurement, or admin within a construction or subcontractor setting is highly beneficial

  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) is an advantage

  • Strong Excel and organisational skills

  • Excellent communication—confident speaking with suppliers and internal teams

  • A proactive, detail-focused attitude and a willingness to learn multiple areas of the business
