A well-established, family-owned façade and window systems contractor/manufacturer in the NYC market is looking to add a Senior Engineer. 

This company specializes in custom architectural window systems, window walls, terrace doors, and complex façade packages across both high-end residential and large-scale commercial projects throughout New York City.

The role is focused on full project ownership from an engineering and detailing perspective - ideal for someone who can lead shop drawings, coordination, technical problem-solving, and engineering deliverables from preconstruction through completion.

• Produce and oversee complete shop drawing packages
• Develop complex details, connections, and custom conditions
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, field teams, and clients
• Perform field investigations and identify hidden site conditions
• Manage engineering schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables
• Handle material take-offs and project coordination
• Ensure accuracy, constructability, and quality control across projects
• Serve as a technical lead during meetings and project execution

• 5–10+ years within the façade, glazing, curtain wall, or architectural window industry
• Strong AutoCAD experience required
• Experience with custom window systems, curtain wall, storefront, or façade packages
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, installation methods, hardware, and building envelope systems
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Metal panel, slab edge/slab cover, or 3D modeling experience is a plus
