HVAC Project Manager – Douglasville, GA

As HVAC Project Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of commercial HVAC projects, working closely with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors and customers to ensure successful delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects through the full project lifecycle
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work
• Performing and/or reviewing take-offs
• Purchasing materials and managing project buyout
• Obtaining and negotiating vendor pricing
• Monitoring project budgets and financial performance
• Managing schedules and project timelines
• Coordinating with field personnel and project stakeholders
• Tracking project progress and addressing issues
• Managing change orders and project documentation
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably

This is a commercial-focused Project Management position with no sales responsibility, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the operational and delivery side of the HVAC industry.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager who understands how to successfully manage projects from award through completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial HVAC projects and be confident managing the financial, operational and vendor side of multiple projects.

You should be comfortable with:

• Managing commercial HVAC projects from start to finish
• Reviewing plans, specifications and project requirements
• Completing and reviewing material and labor take-offs
• Project procurement and buyout
• Working closely with vendors and subcontractors
• Managing project costs and profitability
• Coordinating with customers, field teams and internal departments
• Managing project schedules and deadlines
• Identifying and resolving issues before they impact the project
• Maintaining strong vendor and client relationships

Commercial HVAC experience is essential.
